New Post - Just something to share:

I found this nice quote while reading a manga:

Courage is a word of justice.
It means the quality of mind that enables one to face apprehension with confidence and resolution.
It is not right to use it as an excuse to kill someone.

--Detective Conan, v31, c313, pg17

Nice, no? ^^

Have you read?!

The latest ONE PIECE, chapter 551: Unbelievable.

I had always wondered why Ace's name is different with Luffy. Now I know. No. Now WE know.

Really, Oda-sensei is really surprising. Did he had this planned from earlier on or did he just came up with the idea?

The twist and turn of the story are never boring, repetitive or even plain stupid, like some other famous manga...

GO READ IT!!! >HERE~!

Kekkashi's Latest Addition - Shiguma!!

KEKKAISHI ROCK! I AM BECOMING MORE AND MORE IN LOVE WITH KEKKAISHI! Why?! Because the story is getting more and more interesting!!

Unlike Mahou Sensei Negima... I'm losing the drive to read that recently... I just hope it won't end in the the "HOLD" list like Bleach, Airgear, claymore, code breaker and Hayate no Gotoku.

I might be reading these "HOLD" manga soon but how soon is, well, unknown...

BTW, back to Kekkaishi!!! Yoshimori is becoming more and more manlier! Not to mention powerful! He had all that power and never knew it, huh?!

Well, he kinda knew it but he ALWAYS uses too much, so it all went into waste... BUT now that he got Shiguma, he's invincible!!!

I mean at first, I was wondering what made Shimao said:

Then, when I saw Shiguma for the first time, I had the *doki doki* as well!

I mean how cool is it to have a landlord that turn into anything you -or- it wants to?!

YAY~~!!! Can't wait for more~!!!!

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Yes. I just finished the whole series of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni AND Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. Thanks to my junior's recommendation and pushing. I find the story scary at first and had postponed the watching till now...

This is one scary anime if you only start watching cause it's friends kill friends... One episode they're good friends, next one is dead thanks to that "good friend". But after one has died, you'd think what else is there to make up the story till 24 episodes?

Well, that's cause even though one may die in one chapter, on the next chapter, the dead walks again! Hahahaha~!!! That's what I thought when I started watching this series. Each chapter focuses on different characters.

It tells the story of different character, why that particular character can go violent and killing people. But all of the ending is always the same. RIKA-chan ALWAYS dies and the village is wipe out of the face of the earth.

Then the second season: It started off with 30 years later. We get to see the future without the whole village. Then, flashbacks to how it all happened. Only then we viewers get to see the REAL situation.

Why is there so many chapters? How can people who died be alive later? What's really happening? Is it all a dream or reality? All this questions that us viewers has in mind will be answered in this season.

The characters in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

The main characters in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.

After School Nightmare

I can't believe what I just read. Yes, it's true.

I've just finished off a series that I had took up thinking that it was a nice, warm and fluffy shoujo manga but turn out to be a real angsty, heart wrenching, and even confusing.

I even went on strike by going hiatus and thought of leaving it hanging. Then, I found that the series had actually finished. So, I thought, "What the heck?" and continued it just for the sake of finishing what I started.

The story kept me confused all the time till the very last chapter. Fine, for those of you who had GUESSED the ending, you're smart, I'm stupid. But, really who COULD have thought of THAT ending?!

Anyhow, right now I'm in shock but not in a bad sort of shock. It's just that I felt somehow, relieved. Not because I finally finished the series but because of the ending.

It has a good ending. But it's also a sad one. Nonetheless, it made feel grateful to be born and alive.

The series that made me feel such strong emotions turbulance are nonetheless After School Nightmare. It was a nightmare but every nightmares need a good ending, does it not? Even if it's a sad one. (^_^)

MAR

I recently reread the whole MAR series. I redownloaded, reread and am now still keeping it cause I am thinking of rereading it again.

Some may think that this manga/anime is a bit too childish but I don't think so. I mean, we all love fantasies, don't we? So what's wrong with combining all the fairytales that we read when we were kids into one cool story?

We get to see lots of fairytales characters in this one manga/anime in a very cool way. Plus the story mainly only shows the good side of those characters. Yes, I know it is a good vs. bad type of typical story but it is the way the mangaka reveals the story that makes me love it.

It is predictable yet suprising. The plot may be common but the story isn't. Having the chance to see Dorothy, Scarecrow, Rapunzel, Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, Pinocchio and so on altogether really cracks me up. PLUS my favourite character, Puss in Boots. He's the COOLEST. Yup. That he is.

If anyone out there have yet to see or read this wonderful manga, go to MangaTraders and download the full series after you become a member. THEN, buy the original if you really like it. Support the mangaka. He needs to feed his family and himself too, ya'know.
VERSUS
The story is mainly about our heroes, the MAR team vs. the bad guys, The Chess Pieces... For more information, go here.

Kuroshitsuji - A-Thryst, A Dissapointment...

Kuroshitsuji has completed for quite some time but A-Thryst has yet to even release the 7th episode... And even though I'm a fan of their subs, I can no longer wait anymore...

So, I went to download from other fansubs (while feeling guilty) and am now marathoning the anime. I have started on the manga ever since I heard about this anime from one of my Internet friend... AND I LOVE IT.

The manga is good. The anime, CUTE! Anyone who has yet to watch the anime, go hunt it down...

Nana

i just saw american idol with no doubt performing "just a girl." And all the while they were performing, I kept having Nana flashing thru my head.

(info on nana)

Nana is the name of two entirely different people with different purposes in life and personality that bumped into each other by a twist of fate. They then stayed together in an apartment with the number 707. As their names also signify the number 7, that apartment became their ultimate home.

as the story goes on, both of them became closer than ever. One of them is a rock singer for the band, Black Stone a.k.a. BLAST, and the other is a sweet country girl who is later called Hachi (meaning no.8 or a "dog" as it is a common dog name in Japan) to avoid confusion among their friends.

Life's ups and downs gave them both the worst and the best moments in their lives. But their friendship continues on strong... But life is never fair... There are hints where Nana (the rock band singer) committed suicide in the end. But what had led to her suicide?

Go and download NANA from MT to find out!

Nana Osaki is a punk singer who wants to debut with her band as soon as possible to leave her ex-boyfriend, Ren Honjo, behind. Nana was the lead vocalist in their old band with Ren, and they lived together as lovers. When Ren is offered a chance to debut in Tokyo as a replacement member of the popular band Trapnest (TraNes for short), Nana chooses to cultivate her own band, Black Stones (BlaSt for short) instead.

Nana Komatsu, the other Nana, is called Hachi as she has strong mental characteristics that resemble a puppy. With a habit of falling in love at first sight, Hachi has always depended on other people to help her. When her friends and then boyfriend leave for Tokyo, she decides to join them a year later after having saved enough money.

Nana and Hachi meet in a train by chance, both on their way to Tokyo. After a string of coincidences, they come to live together in an apartment numbered 707. Despite having contrasting characters and ideals, the Nanas like and respect each other.

While the Black Stones begin to gain popularity at live gigs, other issues need resolving, especially in the areas of romance. The story of Nana revolves heavily on the romance and relationships of the two characters as one seeks fame and recognition while the other seeks love and happiness.

Midnight Secretary

I am currently rereading my collection of Midnight Secretary and I LOVE IT! The art is pretty and the story is captivating.

For updates: Baka-Updates Manga - Midnight Secretary.

The story revolves around a very cute baby-faced girl who aspire to be the perfect secretary. She had always been troubled by her face that made her look like a middle-schooler and tries her hardest to be matured-looking.

When she was working for the Touma company, she was assigned to the egoistic, despotic, arrogant, bad-tempered, selfish, playboy Director Touma, who changes his woman as if they're clothes. She had no trouble with the work but what about his private life?

Certain suspicion made her spy on her own boss and then she discovered something that will make her life change forever...

What does it mean to be a midnight secretary? Don't get mislead and think that this is a hentai. This story may contain a bit, o.k. a lot, of explicit scenes but that is not the focus of the story. The focus lies on the heroine, Kaya Satozuka, and how her life changes as she became a part of Kyouhei Touma's life...

D.Grayman on HIATUS?!

Exactly. I saw on the latest chapter of D.Grayman. It's on HIATUS until further notice! WTH?! Urgh... But I don't think I really mind, though... I mean, the manga's art has lately gone from bad to worst. I hope this will help the mangaka, Katsura Hoshino get back on track...

Fullmetal Alchemist

I just marathoned the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist till the recent chapter of 94. I have had the anime for quite some time and I didn't really like it cause I feel that it's confusing...
But in the manga, everything was explained and the crushed feeling that I had while watching the anime has not surfaced even once.
Though FMA is really not good for my eyes cause I cry for it too much, I still like it. Though I don't really like war stories but I still like FMA.

You can call me a sucker if you want, but every time I read about their circumstances, I'll cry.

KKM S3 DONE~!

Kyou Kara Maou Season 3 has finished airing and subbed~! YAY~! I love the whole series. Even though it's now up to episode 117, I still LOVE it. Seriously.
I can see that though there is the consistent flow pattern of story but the development is there. It isn't like some anime where the characters stay the same throughout the whole series with no self-development at all.
In KKM, most of the characters grow as the timeline moves on. It is almost like I am watching them grow in front of me! I truly thank the author, Tomo Takabayashi!
For more details about the anime, go here.

Kuroshitsuji ep 4: What were you thinking?!

I was rewatching Kuroshitsuji since A-Thryst is releasing some new episodes of it again... And, I found this scene every inticing... hehehe...

After watching it, what do you think they are doing? Come on, guess.... This, is of course, not the full version... But, really after you have guessed only look/play the video below, ok?

HAHAHAHA~~!!! Did you have any bad assumptions? hehehe...

KKM ep111: Maturing Yuri!

I really like Kyou Kara Maou. As I continue watching it, I can feel that the characters are evolving. Especially Yuri, the main character, the Maou of Shin Makoku.

In this season, I can see the difference in the episode 33. The growth of Yuri is astounding in the episode. See for yourself:

Previously, Yuri would have been so emotional that he would flip at Saralegui right in front of everyone and cause a big scene. But as you can see, he hold his temper and only confronted Saralegui in the carriage when they are alone.

Also when he tells his friends about his decision to still befriend Sara despite what had happened. And the way he warns Saralegui with grace, it was SOOOO~~~~ MATURE~~! And cute as well!

See for yourself!

KKM ep110: Blue Wind?!

I never thought that I would be able to see something like a misterious masked justice fighter (like the ZORO) in any anime... But to really see it in the Kyou Kara Maou... hahahaha.... I couldn't help laughing my head off...

Every time I rewatch the same episode (Season 3 ep. 32; ep. 110 of the whole series), entitled "Blue Wind Blows" I would laugh or at least grin sheepishly when Conrad shows up.

Here, have a look yourself:

Don't you feel like laughing when you watch it? hahaha~!!!

KKM ep100 - Maou's song(?)

This is from the latest Kyou Kara Maou series. TO be exact, it's episode 22 from the third season and episode 100 from the whole series.

This part is when the members of nobles are in doubt of Yuuri being the Maou a.k.a. Demon King. They had this thing called the Round Table, where the Maou have to answer every question from the 10 noble families. But in this episode, instead of holding a conference, Yuuri suggested that they play a game called "Shinou'ed Away". The rules are about the same as "Kick the Can" but have to sing the song "Shinou'ed Away" while stepping on the "head" (can) before they can win and the "it" had to crawl to stop them.

I like the song because they were supposed to be praising the Shinou but the song changed in the middle with the word "Maou" replacing the word "Shinou" to show that the 10 nobles' intention of honouring the Maou, Yuuri. It's so touching that I made this clip and would like to share with everyone. I just wish that I could have heard the whole song.... Damn the stupid Stofel....

Bittersweet - Refridgerator Chocloate

I've decided to upload this one file. I like the story. It's sweet and bitter. Making it bittersweet, as I would describe "LOVE" if anyone ever ask me, "How do you describe love?" This one story tells why. I hope you enjoy it. I did, still do. It's one of the chapters that I got my idea from, for this time's blog title.

The manga is Nanairo Sekai, literally means The World in Seven Colours. This is the last chapter, chapter four: Refrigerator Chocolate. Enjoy~!

I found out that there's even a youtube for this! You'll have to read really fast... I think. But the music (Anywhere by Evanescense) is nice background for this chapter. Thanks, dancefase! (Though I didn't ask her permission to promote this...) -_-;

Tried to find a synopsis or summary... Couldn't find one...

Postpone to further notice

I wanna do the manga review thing... I already have several ideas about which manga I should review and recommend. But as the days are tiring for me and I have yet to get use to it, this plan of mine will be suspended till further notice. In the meantime, I will try to draft out all the reviews that I wanna post. Hopefully I'll be able to continue with this plan of mine...

Which is Which?

I found this "puzzle" from a manga I'm reading: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro; volume 14, ch 118: Gate.

Here it goes!

Situation: You're in front of two gates: Gate to the Earth and Gate to the Demon World.

Before each stands a guardian, one who only tells the truth and one who only speaks lies. You are allowed to ask only one question to only one of the guardians. Well, which guardian would you ask what question to return to Earth?

So the question: Which is the gate to the Earth and which is the gate to the demon world?

Mission: Choose the gate to Earth (to live, of course!).

Reminder: You do not know which guardian speaks the truth or only lies. You do not know which gate is which. You can only ask ONE question to ONE guardian.

Hint: Positive(+) times(x) negatives(-) & negative(-) times(x) positive(+) = negative(-).

Try to find out the answer! When you find it, leave in on the jottings below together with your reasons as well! Happy trying!

Gakuen Heaven

As I was browsing around the net, choosing (critically) to see which manga is nice, I found a very interesting thing. There's two manga(s) with the exact same title = Gakuen Heaven.

One of them is probably a shojo manga where the story revolves around a guy who is keeping his virginity (though it's actually because he's unpopular and too shy, not mention dorky) for his childhood friend (a girl, obviously). He found her at his new school where he would teaching Biology. She recognises him instantly but he found it difficult because that childhood friend of his had grow up into a "HOT BABE". A real hot babe. Well, as hot as a manga can make her. She's pratically 36-24-36 (you know what I mean, right?), innocently cute, but don't know the boundaries of "touching" between man and woman. Well, the story is still ongoing.... Here's a picture about it (I know it's a bit explicit, well... hehe... the one in the middle is the main character...):
The second was discovered recently as I was trying to find the above's update through Google. Apparently, this one is more popular than the other. It's a boy's love story. You know what I mean, right? However, the story escapes me. Sorry. This one is actually available as PS game, drama CDs, anime AND manga. So well, this proves that it is much more widely known than the previous one. Here's a picture I found in the net (seeing this you'll know what is boy's love story... hehe...):
I was suprised cause usually you don't find TWO manga(s) that have the same title. I mean I did found several that had similar title but never the same. So, you can imagine my suprised look.

Betrothed vs Fiance (?!!)

This is a summary of an episode in Kyou Kara Maou (Ep. 45).

In the Mazoku world (the world where Yuuri Shibuya got transported to), there are several really funny and interesting rules (or should I say, tradition?). For one, if you slap a person (no matter whether it's a she or he; meaning if you slap a guy when you are a guy, like in Yuuri's case), you had just proposed to that person! [Try to imagine if OUR world have that rule! The divorce cases for lawyers will be mounting up! Or maybe lessen(?)hmmm....]

Anyway, way back at Ep. 1, Yuuri had mistakenly slap Wolfram (a guy, and yes, Yuuri is a guy as well) when Wolfram had insulted Yuuri's mother due to some issues. So that makes Yuuri the one who "proposed" to Wofram! (Don't ask me why Wolfram didn't reject or retaliate but as the story goes on, Wolfram seems to be falling in love more and more towards Yuuri)

It so happens that in this particular episode, Wolfram had a betrothed from childhood (a woman!) who came to claim Wolfram. Hmmm... where does Yuuri stand in this? Well, they had an "omiai" meaning a match make meeting for Yuuri (the Maou, meaning King of Evil or is it Demon?) with Lady Elizabeth, the respective woman. Unfortunately for Yuuri, she came only wishing to confront her Wolfram and not to see Yuuri. (hehe... pity Yuuri, ne?)

Then when Lady Elizabeth throws a tantrum and dropped the utensils, again; Yuuri being a neat freak (I guess), bends down to pick up the utensils. You see, the rules were when you pick up a knife dropped by another nobleman, means that you agree to spar with them. And in this case, Yuuri picked up a fork and a knife resulting in:
Look at Conrad at the back! Hahaha!!! This just show how stupid and reckless Yuuri is!!! Even Conrad, Yuuri's "nazukeoya" is having a headache over Yuuri's foolishness! Hahaha!!!!

When the "smart" Yuuri tries to wiggle his way out of his relationship with Wolfram by losing this fight with Lady Elizabeth:
The funiest moments however was these:
These are the expressions that you can see TWICE when there is a special twist in the story! Hahaha!!! Funny, right? Each characters' expression speaks for themselves! Hehe.... Really! Every time I rewatch this episode, I'll laugh until my stomach ache, hehehe.... It's just too ridiculous and funny!!

Seeking help!!!

Somebody, please help me!!

I'M LOOKING FOR ANYONE WHO KNOWS A MANGA CALLED "ANATOLIA STORY" OR (A.K.A) "RED RIVER". ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHICH WEBSITE HAS ITS DIRECT DOWNLOAD, PLEASE TELL ME!!! LEAVE YOUR MESSAGE AT MY CBOX. ANY HELP AT ALL IS DEEPLY THANKED. *BOW*

As you can see, I'm currently desperate to download the above manga. It is a VERY INTERESTING manga. The story is touching yet exciting. I had downloaded until volume 23 and also volume 26 - 28. Recently, news reach my ears that the manga has 28 volumes and it had finished at that! So, please, I WANT TO READ THE MANGA!!! So, please tell me if you know any websites that has the entire set of the manga!!!

Below is some pictures of the manga:

Sorry if you think the pictures are explicit but the contents are a bit explicit in the manga. It's basically about a 15 years old girl who got wraped in the turmoil of the royalties in the ancient Hitite empire. The girl of course, falls in love with a prince (Uh, so nice, she got her own prince. Isn't that every girls' dream?) and become the country's Ishtar (Goddess of War), even though she dislikes war. She had her chances to go back to her own time (and century) but missed it (TWICE) in the name of love! And mind me, it's not intentionally. Anyway, if anyone ever pick this up, YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE IT. You'll be addicted (same as me!).

I read a review of this particular manga before (whilst trying to find more manga download websites) and this author said that ... well, why don't you read for yourself? It's at http://popheart.org/lunch/?p=355. [Miss Ariadne, I'm sorry to link you without your permission but your review is just too good and true to be wasted. So, I hope you'll be able to find a way to forgive me]

So, anyone who knows, please tell me, ok?

Whatever

Just wants to share some good pictures with you anime and manga freaks out there!

This is the one anime that I've been trying so hard to get a complete set!!! Cute, ne?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~@_@~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is my ALL-TIME-FAVOURITE!!!! It never fails to bring out tears, laughter, or even anger in me!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^0^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is just another favourite anime of mine!! She's the one lady character that I truly love! Strong-willed and trusting! hmmm.... Hope to be more like her!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(-_-")~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This one makes me cry all the time! The story is just so sad! At first, it was nice, then the turn makes it sad but sweet! Now, it just make me wanna cry and be done with it! Oh why does the mangaka have to make the story this way? I hope to quickly finish this one! (hopefully, it ends with a happy ending! Hell, after all the stupid journeys and hardships, if the mangaka (CLAMP) dares to make the ending a sad one, I'll curse you to DEATH!!!
Pretty Face
Due to request by friends, I shall begin my writing about mangas and animes. Today I shall comment on Pretty Face.
Hmm... It's been a while since I had read this manga. I read it when I first came to university, when I started my journey of downloading manga and anime.
It's about a guy who is all mighty is karate. This guy is a jerk who beats up every single person who annoys him. But he, as a normal person, like everyone else has a soft side. This soft side is specially just for the girl that he fell crazily in love with. He will actually thinks of his actions and words in front of her just so that she doesn't hear any bad words. Hmm... Kinda extreme, you would say? Well, the story goes on...
Randoh Masashi, the karate guy, had just won the national karate tournament (Hokkaido Tai Kai) and was gloating about it in the public bus on the way home. He noticed that Kurimi Rina was also in the same bus with him. Then he was alone as the others (including Rina) had reached their destination as the bus drove on a winding road of a hill.
It just so happens that the bus 'met' a car coming from the opposite way and lost control. The next thing Randoh know was he woke up on an operation table in a small clinic.
That's when the real story begins. He found out that he had been in a coma for one year. This doctor, Manabe, was the one who rescued him and fix him up for he was burnt real bad in the accident. The accident apparently had no survivors, meaning he's the sole survivor, and Manabe never knew who he was until Randoh himself woke up. But all that was done is done. Manabe said Randoh's face was badly burnt, therefore he had to perform plastic surgery on Randoh.
And you know WHAT? Manabe fix Randoh's face into Kurimi Rina's face. 100% identical. Except for Randoh's hair which was apparently bleached after the accident (not sure how but his hair turned from black into yellow(?). Family moved away, can not confide to any friends (cause he doesn't have any trustworthy friends) and he bumped into Rina!
Ooohhh......... That's exciting, right? Wanna know what happen next? Hmm... I'm tired, maybe I should leave it for tomorrow........
Just kidding ;P
It so happens that Rina actually had a twin sister who ran away two years ago. Coincidence? Hmm.... I'll leave it your judgement. Then Randoh was to live with the girl he likes as a GIRL....
The rest, go find out yourself. All I'll say is that he spent every single day of his after life getting stimulated, scared, angry, sad, and lots of other emotions that he never had to deal with before. Randoh really cares for Rina, in every way possible. He always say,
"Rina is the most precious person to me, as long as I'm here, I won't let any pest near her!"
The manga consists of 6 Volume with 56 Chapters. Anyone who wants a good laugh should really consider reading this manga!!
If there's any mistakes in this review, please inform me!
