After School Nightmare

I can't believe what I just read. Yes, it's true.

I've just finished off a series that I had took up thinking that it was a nice, warm and fluffy shoujo manga but turn out to be a real angsty, heart wrenching, and even confusing.

I even went on strike by going hiatus and thought of leaving it hanging. Then, I found that the series had actually finished. So, I thought, "What the heck?" and continued it just for the sake of finishing what I started.

The story kept me confused all the time till the very last chapter. Fine, for those of you who had GUESSED the ending, you're smart, I'm stupid. But, really who COULD have thought of THAT ending?!

Anyhow, right now I'm in shock but not in a bad sort of shock. It's just that I felt somehow, relieved. Not because I finally finished the series but because of the ending.

It has a good ending. But it's also a sad one. Nonetheless, it made feel grateful to be born and alive.

The series that made me feel such strong emotions turbulance are nonetheless After School Nightmare. It was a nightmare but every nightmares need a good ending, does it not? Even if it's a sad one. (^_^)

MAR

I recently reread the whole MAR series. I redownloaded, reread and am now still keeping it cause I am thinking of rereading it again.

Some may think that this manga/anime is a bit too childish but I don't think so. I mean, we all love fantasies, don't we? So what's wrong with combining all the fairytales that we read when we were kids into one cool story?

We get to see lots of fairytales characters in this one manga/anime in a very cool way. Plus the story mainly only shows the good side of those characters. Yes, I know it is a good vs. bad type of typical story but it is the way the mangaka reveals the story that makes me love it.

It is predictable yet suprising. The plot may be common but the story isn't. Having the chance to see Dorothy, Scarecrow, Rapunzel, Snow White, Jack and the Beanstalk, Pinocchio and so on altogether really cracks me up. PLUS my favourite character, Puss in Boots. He's the COOLEST. Yup. That he is.

If anyone out there have yet to see or read this wonderful manga, go to MangaTraders and download the full series after you become a member. THEN, buy the original if you really like it. Support the mangaka. He needs to feed his family and himself too, ya'know.
VERSUS
The story is mainly about our heroes, the MAR team vs. the bad guys, The Chess Pieces... For more information, go here.

Kuroshitsuji - A-Thryst, A Dissapointment...

Kuroshitsuji has completed for quite some time but A-Thryst has yet to even release the 7th episode... And even though I'm a fan of their subs, I can no longer wait anymore...

So, I went to download from other fansubs (while feeling guilty) and am now marathoning the anime. I have started on the manga ever since I heard about this anime from one of my Internet friend... AND I LOVE IT.

The manga is good. The anime, CUTE! Anyone who has yet to watch the anime, go hunt it down...
