Reload - Black Cat Manganime
I've read it before, I've seen it before, and I've certainly heard it before. But that does not stop me from being amused again.
The manga:
Black Cat manga has 185 chapters. The story starts after Saya Minatsuki has been killed for two years, and Train Heartnet has joined Sven Vollfied in becoming a sweeper. How they met was not mentioned, yet the partnership is good.
The manga is not as dark as in the anime, contradictory to other manga-turn-anime stories. Like the fact that the last battle cannot be found in manga.
The anime:
Black Cat anime consists of 23 episodes with each episode's title an expression of a cat. The anime starts before Train even met Saya, while he was still a member of the Chronos Numbers, XIII.
We get to see how obsessed Creed Diskenth is with Train from the start of the anime. Then how he killed Saya. Basically, the anime focused more on Creed and the Apostle of Stars. Only the last battle, we get to see the story focusing on Ewe and the Eden Project.
Manganime:
The plot in the manga focuses more on Train as a sweeper and his daily life with his team, Sven and Ewe. The story is mostly focused on how the three of them working together to capture the wanted people. However, the anime focuses more on his battles with the Chronos and Creed. The anime also introduces us to more characters than in the manga, making it more confusing for me... ^^;;
My Preference:
I prefer the manga version of the story. Some of the parts in the anime was so overblown that it defeats logic, like creation of the Eden Project. Also, in my opinion, the manga version makes more sense...
I like the distorted expression cat. I also like the song that Saya sings in the anime, Konoyo no Uta...
